The tale of the thumping DELTA faucet Model # 10900LF
In an earlier video, Harley showed a vacuum port design based on a house’s central vac system. As shown, the vacuum connector was less complicated than blast gates but still took a bit of work.
Today at the House of Hacks, Harley demonstrates an updated and improved vacuum port design to connect hoses to the shop vac. The new form is much faster to make and easier to use.
The new design uses readily available plumbing parts for the hose connector. It is completed with a scrap 4×4 turned on the lathe to act as a plug when the port is not in use.
