(0:07) EZ Retro Basin Change
(0:14) STEP 1: Remove (4) 5/16″ screws securing wrapper.
(0:25) STEP 2: Remove wrapper.
(0:33) STEP 3: Turn off water to cooler.
(0:42) STEP 4: Tap push bar and bottle filler sensor to drain any remaining water.
(0:52) STEP 5: Unplug cooler and bottle filler power cords from wall.
(0:59) STEP 6: Remove drain trap.
(1:07) STEP 7: Press up on quick release to remove bottle filler water line.
(1:14) STEP 8: Remove (2) screws securing basin cap with a Torx T25 bit or a 5/32″ Allen wrench.
(1:23) STEP 9: Remove bottle filter cap by lifting up.
(1:32) STEP 10: Rotate top of bottle filler forward to access the back.
(1:40) STEP 11: Unplug purple wire or yellow wire from bottle filler.
(1:46) STEP 12: Remove bottle filler by lifting up and pulling it off of basin.
(1:53) STEP 13: Remove mat by pulling back two nubs off of the back of alcove and then rotate mat off of the front.
(2:02) STEP 14: Using (2) screws and (2) washers provided, secure adaptor to bottle filler base.
(2:13) STEP 15: Remove hardware that is securing bottle filler mounting plate and remove old mounting plate.
(2:23) STEP 16: Using Torx T20 bit, loosen (4) screws securing push bar basin assembly. There are two screws located on the right and left sides of cooler.
(2:35) STEP 17: Tilt push bar basin assembly forward to gain access to push bar wires and bubbler water line.
(2:44) STEP 18: Pull push bar wires off of connectors and disconnect bubbler water line.
(2:52) STEP 19: Using Torx T20 bit, remove (4) screws securing basin.
(3:02) STEP 20: Using quick disconnect, disconnect bubbler water line.
(3:11) STEP 21: Unscrew nut securing bubbler and pull bubbler off of basin.
(3:19) STEP 22: Attach bottle filler drainage tube to new basin.
(3:26) STEP 23: Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen clamp that is holding tube. Pull drainage tube out and replace with new drainage tube. Tighten clamp to secure drainage tube into place.
(3:38) STEP 24: Screw on nut securing bubbler to new basin. Line up dimple on basin and bubbler,
(3:50) STEP 25: Using quick connect, connect bubbler water line.
(3:57) STEP 26: Using Torx T20, replace (4) screws securing basin. Connect bottle filler drain to main cooler drain with clamp.
(4:06) STEP 27: Set push bar basin assembly on front of cooler to reconnect push bar wires and bubbler water line.
(4:12) STEP 28: Reconnect push bar wires and bubbler water line.
(4:22) STEP 29: Set push bar basin assembly on front of cooler to reconnect push bar wires and bubbler water line.
(4:31) STEP 30: Using Torx T20 bit, tighten (4) screws securing push bar basin assembly. There are two screws located on the right and left sides of cooler.
(4:43) STEP 31: Using hardware that is not included, secure new mounting plate to wall. New holes might need to be drilled.
(4:53) STEP 32: Place rubber bottle filler gasket on basin by lining up hole for wire and water line.
(5:01) STEP 33: Guide bottle filler cord through basin hole first. Next run purple wire up through basin from cooler. Run water line from bottle filler through basin trying not to kink the line.
(5:11) STEP 34: Plug-in purple wire or yellow wire to bottle filler.
(5:19) STEP 35: Rotate top of bottle filler backward to secure bottle filler to mounting bracket.
(5:27) STEP 36: Replace bottle filler top cap using Trox T25 bit or 5/32″ Allen wrench.
(5:39) STEP 37: Using quick connect, reconnect bottle filler water line to T.
(5:48) STEP 38: Reconnect drain trap.
(5:58) STEP 39: Plug cooler and bottle filler into outlet.
(6:07) STEP 40: Turn water back on.
(6:15) STEP 41: Replace front wrapper.
(6:26) STEP 42: Replace front wrappers (4) 5/16″ screws to secure wrapper to cooler.
(6:37) STEP 43: Completed basin change.
