How do you get 19 manatees out of a drainpipe? CNN’s Jeanne Moos says it took more than a plumber to flush this clog.
This is a flush of a toilet to be reckoned with. This was done initially with very little water in the bowl and a pretty full tank to get the entire flush and suck action done in one shot. Note the unique gurgling sound at the end of the siphon action, very unique to Kilgore. This is a Kilgore model 109 elongated circa 1982.
Note the squared off sections of the bowl at the back. This is another feature unique to Kilgore. They are actually the delivery channels for the siphon jet. It makes the jet extremely powerful and this is something that has been introduced as ‘new’ these days by people like Am Std and Kohler, but yet it was in use by Kilgore years ago first! The jet helps with building a very strong suction which allows this toilet to suck down just about anything. More details coming soon!
